Hotel 17 Resorts & Hospitality (Pvt.) Ltd. is seeking a professional, proactive, and people-focused HR professional to join our Human Resources team as Assistant Manager – HR in Lahore.
The successful candidate will support the day-to-day HR operations of the hotel, ensuring effective talent management, employee engagement, HR compliance, employee relations, and implementation of HR policies in line with 4/5-star hotel and international hospitality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the HOD HR in managing day-to-day HR operations.
- Manage recruitment activities including sourcing, screening, interviews, selection, and onboarding.
- Coordinate manpower requirements with departmental heads and maintain an effective talent pipeline.
- Manage employee onboarding, orientation, probation, confirmation, transfers, promotions, and separation processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records, HRIS data, attendance, leave, and personnel files.
- Coordinate payroll inputs including attendance, leave, allowances, deductions, and other HR-related information.
- Support employee benefits including medical insurance, provident fund, gratuity, and other applicable benefits.
- Implement and communicate HR policies, procedures, SOPs, and employee guidelines.
- Handle employee relations, grievances, disciplinary matters, and workplace concerns professionally.
- Coordinate performance management, appraisals, training, employee engagement, and development initiatives.
- Prepare HR reports and monitor key HR indicators including manpower, turnover, absenteeism, recruitment, and attendance.
- Ensure confidentiality, proper documentation, and compliance with applicable employment laws and company policies.
- Promote a positive, professional, and service-oriented workplace culture.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or professional HR qualification will be an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
- Experience in a 4/5-star hotel, international hotel chain, or hospitality organization will be strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of HR operations, recruitment, employee relations, performance management, attendance, and payroll coordination.
- Working knowledge of HRIS/biometric attendance systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Professional grooming, positive personality, and strong employee-service orientation.
- High level of integrity, confidentiality, accountability, and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, weekends, public holidays, and extended hours when required.
